A house to stay in,

DH Country House is a small country house at Degebe, seven kilometres from the centre of Évora. We have three rooms for two, all with a view of the pool and a balcony or terrace facing the garden. Inside, the decoration mixes old and new, and there is a bar for the end of the day, free Wi-Fi and heating for the cold months. Outside are the pool, the garden and private parking by the house.
In the morning we serve breakfast. After that the day is yours: a swim, a book in the garden, or Évora, seven kilometres away. In the late afternoon, a drink at the bar and the silence of the countryside. We are close by if you need anything.

The house is in Degebe, in quiet countryside seven kilometres from the centre of Évora; the nearest restaurants are five minutes away by car. Lisbon is about an hour and a half away on the A6. It is a good base for getting to know the Alentejo at an easy pace.

Good to know.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is between 3.30 pm and 11.30 pm and check-out is by 12.30 pm. Please give us your expected arrival time when you book. If you are flying in, we can arrange an airport transfer on request, at an extra charge.
Is breakfast served?
Yes. We serve breakfast at the house in the morning.
Is there parking?
Yes. We have free private parking on the property.
Is the pool always available?
The pool is outdoors and is used in the warm months. If it matters for your choice, check your dates with us.
Can we come with children? Is there an extra bed?
Yes, children are welcome. For children up to 15 we can add an extra bed in the room, on request, at 40 € per night. We do not have cots.
Do you accept pets?
No, pets are not allowed.
